Mark your calendar! WomanKind has planned many wonderful events in the next few months. We start the season with three events during WomenFest: The Leslie Leonelli Golf Classic, The Pearl’s Cocktail Party, and the Annual WomenFest Street Fair on the 8th, 9th, and 11th of September. October starts with a month long opportunity to “Go Pink”. Show your support for Women’s breast health by sporting a Pink Hair Extension from Bert & Frannie’s Day Spa on Big Pine Key. On Saturday, October 9, there is a DON’T-MISS PRESENTATION by Donna Shields, MS,RD, LD on When Diets Don’t Work at the Eco Discovery Center. The Pinking of You Decorated Bra Auction takes place during Fantasy Fest on Monday, October 25. Due to the overwhelming popularity of the Bra Auction, seating is limited this year, reserve your place early. We will be selling tickets at the Pink Tea the night prior, both events are hosted at La Te Da, 1125 Duval Street. We round out the season supporting our supporters. Join us for the Zonta ABC Walk/Run on Saturday, November 6. This Annual 5K helps fund the Key West Zonta’s mammogram voucher program – of which many WomanKind clients have benefited. The culmination of the season is the 10th Annual Survivors Reunion Concert. This will be the second year Saluté welcomes the concert - complete with buffet dinner and dancing in the sand around the Higg’s Beach Bandstand. Grab your beach blanket and join us under the full moon as local favorites The Survivors return to Key West for one unforgettable night.
